Plans for the 1st Annual “Eagles for Epilepsy” Golf Tournament is underway—and we hope
you’ll join us! This four-person scramble benefits the Epilepsy Foundation of Central Ohio and is scheduled
for June 26, 2008 at Oakhurst Country Club, 3223 Norton Road, Grove City, Ohio 43123. In addition to
raising funds, we also hope to raise awareness about epilepsy.
Unfortunately, funding for epilepsy research from the National Institute of Health is decreasing this year as
is the funding coming from the United Way. Through this golf tournament, we hope to provide education as
well as raise the funds necessary for research and development of new treatment options.

The second annual Accessible Golf Pro-Am hosted by The National Alliance for Accessible Golf will be played Monday, July 14, 2008 - 8:00 am - 2:00 pm. 12th Annual Mathis Foundation for Children Celebrity Golf Classic

Cost: $1250 per foursome for 7:45 flight, $1500 for 1:15 flight
Benefits: Mathis Foundation for Children, a 501c.3. Organization dedicated to at-risk youth by providing scholarships and funding to organizations assisting foster, adoptive and kinship families in the greater Cincinnati area.

The Bucyrus Tourism & Visitors' Bureau's Golf Tournament will be July 19 & 20, 2008. There will be 18 holes played at River Oaks Golf Course and 18 holes played at Valley View Golf Course. It will once again be 2 player teams; 6 holes Scramble; 6 holes Best Ball; 6 holes Alternate Shot. 2nd Annual Shamble At The Ridge Benefiting the One-In-Six Foundation to be held Monday, July 28th at the acclaimed Sand Ridge Golf Club in Chardon, OH (30 minutes east of Cleveland). Shotgun start at 1:00 P.M. followed by cocktail reception and dinner/awards/silent auction. Cost is $325 per individual, $1300 per foursome includes golf, cart, sit down lunch, use of all practice and locker room facilities, on-course beverages, cocktail reception, dinner and valuable participant gifts courtesy of Nike. Shamble format with prizes awarded to top 3 teams as well as closest to the pin, long drive, and raffle winners. Field limited to first 25 foursomes. The One-In-Six Foundation is a not for profit organization that promotes prostate cancer awareness through billboards, radio ads and civic activities. One-In-Six also funds research projects at Johns Hopkins University aimed at finding a cure for the leading form of cancer in men. For more information, please visit www.oneinsix.org

Buckeyes FORE Cancer Research Charity Pro-Am will be held August 4, 2008 at The Lakes Golf & Country Club. Each foursome is paired with a PGA Professional and the format is scramble/best ball. All proceeds benefit cancer research at The James Cancer Hospital and The Ohio State University. Immediately following golf there will be a 2008 college football preview hosted by Kirk Herbstreit and Chris Spielman. Silent/Live Auctions. Cost is $1000.00 per foursome and sponsorships are available.

1st Annual Morrow County Dog Shelter PupPutt When: August 9, 2008-tee time 12 noon; Where: Pine Lakes Golf Club, Mt. Gilead, Ohio 43338. Format: 4 Man Scramble; Cost: $60 per person (singles placed in teams of 4)--$240 per team--includes
18 holes of golf, cart, lunch, and entry into Golf Basket raffle. Registration by July 12, 2008. Make Checks payable to Morrow County Treasurer. Prizes: Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and last place. 50/50 drawing, raffles, On course contests include but not limited to Longest Drive, Closest to the pin, and Longest putt. Also Betting hole(s), and Mulligan chances. Cash beverage cart on course. **All proceeds will benefit the dogs. Money to be used for their well being and towards a new building.**
We are still planning this fundraiser so more will be added to the days events--stay tuned.

The Justice League of Ohio's 4th Annual Celebrity Golf Benefit
